Sonoma, CA – June 8, 2022 – Stewart Cellars , a premium producer of hand-crafted wines from the Napa Valley, Sonoma Mountain, and Sonoma Coast, announced today that it has acquired Monticello Vineyard in the Moon Mountain AVA in the Mayacamas Mountains of Sonoma County. The 51 acres of vines are primarily planted to Zinfandel and Cabernet Sauvignon, with one block of Cabernet Sauvignon planted in 1964, making the vines some of the oldest in California. This vineyard has supplied grapes to notable wineries such as Bedrock, DuMol, Turley and Arnot-Roberts.
